Girls and Boys- 8U through 14U

Weekday Practices: Wednesday evenings- First practice rescheduled- Sunday (9/9)

Practice Time- 5:15 -7:00 pm 

Weekend Games- Sundays

  • Boys- Game times between 9 am- Noon; Girls- Game times between 12pm -5 pm 

Practice Location- Hawthorn Woods Community Park

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When do they practice?: Practices Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 at Hawthorn Woods Community Park. First practice date TBD
  • Where do I get Lacrosse Equipment?: Players New to lacrosse can purchase used equipment from Play it Again Sports in Palatine or Crystal Lake. Dick's Sporting Goods also has a variety of lacrosse equipment.
  • What Equipment do Boys and Girls Need?: Boys: Lacrosse Helmet, Gloves. Shoulder Pads,Elbow Pads. Stick, Mouth guard, Protective Cup. --- Girls: Goggles, stick, mouth guard
  • What do we expect at first practice?: The first practice will be an assessment of the groups skills and introductions from the coaches and ground rules for the season. It will also be fun and exhausting for the kids.
  • What to expect on Game Day?: Your schedule will be communicated by the coach or the website. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to game ready to go. There will be a warm-up practice before each game.
  • What can I do to help at practice?: Our Coaches are all volunteers that have asked the same questions, there are plenty of small tasks at practices and game days that really help out the coaches. Just ask.
